Description:

Job Title: Physician Assistant - Musculoskeletal Care

Location: Florida / Hybrid

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: Based on past work experience.

Description: One of our largest clients is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to deliver outstanding, non-operative care to patients. The ideal candidate will assess patients both virtually and in-person to provide evaluation and management of musculoskeletal conditions.

 Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating and treating patients in accordance with evidence-based protocols, including in-office procedures when appropriate.
  • Managing patients pre- and post-surgery.
  • Collaborating with partner PCPs, Surgeons, Physical Therapists, and Health Coaches to provide comprehensive care.
  • (Ideally) Performing peripheral joint and trigger point injections.

Requirements:

  • Relevant education, licensure, and experience.
  • Licensed to practice in the state of Florida.
  • Board Certified (ideally with additional orthopedics/sports medicine/PMR training) as a Physician Assistant.
  • Minimum of 3 years of practice experience.
  • Philosophically aligned with our model of evidence-based musculoskeletal care.
  • Desire to work in a collaborative care team environment with other physicians, advanced practice providers, physical therapists, and health coaches.
  • Flexibility and collaboration skills to help refine our care model.

Preferred Experience:

  • Evaluating and treating patients with a range of musculoskeletal pain conditions as well as complex medical conditions.
  • Experience in orthopedic, sports medicine, hospital, or specialty care practice.
  • Management of pre- and post-operative cases.
  • Utilization of new clinical technology at the point of care, including telehealth solutions.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel regionally as required.
  • Valid Florida license.
  • Valid vehicle insurance coverage.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (completely fluent).
