A historic day for APRNs in Florida!!

Today, March 11th, 2020, is a historic day for every Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Florida!!  

House Bill 607 was PASSED in the Senate today, sent back to the House and PASSED again.  And this evening, Governor DeSantis HAS SIGNED HB 607!!

We would like to thank all who have advocated and tirelessly worked towards this day, not only this year but in the many years before.  To name a few specific individuals...Representative Cary Pigman, House Speaker Jose Oliva, Senator Ben Albritton, Senator Galvano, and all the members of the House and Senate who voted to improve healthcare access to all Floridians.  As well, all of the organizations who are part of the Floridians Unite for Health Care Coalition, and FLANP's Legislative/Governmental Affairs Chair, Stan Whittaker.  Without everyone's hard work and continuous efforts we would not have achieved this moment!

TOGETHER WE WILL BE VICTORIOUS!
