FLANP 2024 Legislative Report

The 2024 Legislative Session started last week on Tuesday, January 9th, and runs for 60 consecutive days, to conclude on March 8, 2024. Updates will be issued every week for ease of reporting with each report containing each bill’s title, summary provided by the legislature, progress thus far, and APRN relevance. We hope this makes understanding relevant legislation easier and allows tracking better. Due to monitoring approximately 120 bills this session, we have only included some of the most pertinent bills here. You can get updates on all bills on our Current Bills page.

Our legislative team, including our lobbyist, will be hard at work in Tallahassee all session ensuring NPs are represented and advocated for actively.
